I re-enabled the option to approve all new sign ups cause even though I have recaptcha, spammers are still getting into the site, and spamming, so all new users are supposed to go through the approval process, however I am not sure if that applies to Facebook sign ups. If so, message me on facebook, Joseph Slabaugh, and I can approve you.
You can now use your Facebook to sign into EX-Amish Forum Version 3.0! Note that you should include something about Amish in your application, as I got so many spammers that have weird messages as their bot created applications that I have to weed through to find the legitimate ones. However, I have found that also if you sign up via Facebook, then I have no such issue.
Hy everybody, I'm just doing an investigation about Amish children. According to your experience, do you believe Amish children have the same rights USA children have?
In terms of human rights, yes amish children have the same rights equivalent to the rights of US children. Wisconsin v. Yoder is more on the right of an amish child to choose if he/she want's to pursue his/her studies. The rule grants the Old Order Amish the right to establish their own schools, should they choose to or to withdraw from public institutions after completing eighth grade. This applies to all states. Even after this ruling some amish parents still continue to send their kids to school which makes the ruling more on an option rather than a firm ruling. V.S
